Lena Dunham is a single happy friend.
The “Girls” creator posted a tweet just just after midnight Friday morning praising her friend Taylor Swift for her “fierce & cutting” testimony in court yesterday.
Swift took the stand in court Thursday more than allegations from previous DJ David Mueller, whom she says “grabbed [her] ass” throughout a 2013 satisfy-and-greet photo option.
As updates from the courtroom started circulating on the internet, it was apparent Swift was holding firm in demo, standing up for herself with self esteem as she was questioned by Mueller’s attorney.
“I imagine what he did was despicable and awful and terrifying,” Swift testified, referring to Mueller. “Yet below we are, several years afterwards. And he and you are suing me and I’m currently being blamed for the unlucky gatherings of his lifestyle that are a solution of his decisions, not mine.”
Dunham was not by itself in exhibiting aid for the “Style” singer — celebrities like Nelly Furtado also shared their aid for Swift on the internet.
Their voices joined numerous other Swifties who confirmed up on Twitter to praise the “I Don’t Wanna Are living Forever” singer’s energy in the courtroom.
